CO - Day 2 Colorado Balloon Classic

After the zoo, we headed over to Uncle Adam's place for dinner then off to see the hot air balloon festival at Memorial Park. It's an annual thing they have over Labor Day weekend. We got there in time to watch them inflate the balloons then do countdowns for them to light up for a few seconds. These are the first balloons to inflate. There sure were a lot of Coloradans out.
More popping up! These were the biggest balloons I've ever seen!
The fire was hot! Glad it didn't singe my hair!
Here's the countdown...5-4-3-2-1!! That one with the horse, never lit up! :(
Yay! What a great sight!
And finally the view from across the lake when we walked back to the car.
