CO - Day 6 Royal Gorge Bridge & Park

Thursday we spent the day at the Royal Gorge in Cañon City which is about 2 hours South of Grandma's.
This is a Waterclock...one of only three in the World. It reads the exact time, day, month & year. There was a country-singing dog.
I had to get my groove on!
The Rogyal Gorge Bridge is the World's highest suspension bridge. It was really windy making the bridge sway a bit!
Daddy's head is blocking it, but we are in front of the NJ flag.
We crossed the bridge & walked up to the top of the park...we were a little winded!
There was a petting zoo...The zookeeper said there was a risk of me catching E. Coli however as long as I used Purell hand sanitizer afterwards, everything would be ok. I decided just to look at the animals with daddy!
We walked through the Wapiti Western Wildlife Park which is home to native Colorado animals such as the Rocky Mountain Bighorn Sheep, American Bison & Rocky Mountain Elk!
Of course we had to stop for a snack. There's always time to eat.
Then we took the tram back down. It is the world's longest single-span aerial tram.
This is the view...good thing I'm not afraid of heights. That's the Arkansas River flowing below and the Royal Gorge Bridge out in the distance.
We made it out of the tram!
Driving home we were tempted to stop in at this place but decided not to after we saw gunfights and hangings daily! :)
